Character Demo – Transatlantic Accent

Playside is one of Australasia’s top game development studios, known for delivering bold, character-driven titles. Their latest creation, Mouse PI, is a stylised FPS set in a 1920s-inspired cartoon underworld—equal parts noir, jazz, and cheese-fuelled mayhem.

In this demo, I voice a character using the classic Transatlantic accent, evoking the golden age of radio and early cinema. Think trench coats, flickering street lamps, and fast talk over faster gunplay. It’s the perfect fit for a game that blends sharp storytelling with a wink to vintage animation.
