Dark British vampire character for videogame trailer

Well, here’s something different!

Character work - It’s not my bread & butter but I do love to throw myself into a character when I get the chance!

Here is a character that called for intensity, darkness, confidence but with an underlying insecurity and desperation. Character is a British vampire and a guide for this game trailer.

A European Accent for the American Audience for Holland-America Line

I often create bespoke custom accents for my clients with specific needs.

This was the case for Holland America Line with their new campaign for the Global Fresh Fish program. This accent was to sound as if it was from somewhere in Europe, but still be highly palatable to the American ear!

Women's World Cup 2023 for Fox Sports

The Women’s Football world cup was a pretty big deal here down under, as we were the hosts!

So I was incredibly humbled and honoured to voice a promo or two for the Giant American TV Network, Fox Sports!

This promo is for the Australia vs England game, and it's beautifully put together. My Australian voiceover style on this is that or a storyteller, using my voice to illustrate the twists and turns and add gravity and weight to the importance of the match.

Sounding like Matthew McConaughey

Matthew and I seem to have very similar larynxes! If I get the accent just right, and the right intention.. and you squint… there’s not too much daylight between the deliveries!

I was recently asked to do this for a video which you can see below.

I love Matthew McConaughey’s voice - he has such ease of delivery, boundless charisma, and people lean in to whatever he’s saying. It’s always a pleasure to adopt his minset and attempt to voice match him, or do a soundalike.

Four Corners - American, salt of the earth accent

I was recently employed to be the launch voice of a new Gin - Four Corners.

This called for an earthy, grounded, trustworthy voice in an American accent.

As a fan of gin - how could I refuse!

They are one of my favorite clients, And I seem to have come across that most precious of creative relationships where:
a) They pay very fairly and promptly, and appreciate my work
